East Carroll Township is a township in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,654 at the 2010 census.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Geographic Identifiers: 2010 Demographic Profile Data (G001): East Carroll township, Cambria County, Pennsylvania )〕 It is part of the Johnstown, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. ==Geography== The township is located in north-central Cambria County at 40.57° N by 78.70° W and is about north of Ebensburg, the county seat, and west-northwest of the city of Altoona. The township is bordered on the east by Chest Creek, a north-flowing tributary of the West Branch Susquehanna River. The borough of Carrolltown borders part of the township on the west, and Patton touches the northeast corner of the township. U.S. Route 219 crosses the township from north to south, connecting Carrolltown with Ebensburg. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , all of it land.〔
